Never trust a list

Tomorrow is February and my heart is still very much in 2007.

If the two-thousand-and-seventh year of our Lord would've been just one month longer, I would've realized that the following three records belonged in my favorite albums list. I've posted a few samples below for you to consider on this maddeningly cold Thursday morning.

"Houseclouds" by Liars (from "S/T")

"Cardinal Movements" by Bottomless Pit (from "Hammer of the Gods")

"Stay Tuned" by Robert Wyatt (from "Comicopera")

As per my usual, there's a show coming up. But this one is special. It's on my birthday! Poison Arrows, Bottomless Pit and Bellini (members of Uzeda) will be playing at the Hideout on Sunday, March 16th. An Intellectual Props get together? I think so!
