I was pleasantly pleased to find this out firsthand yesterday when I went to buy tickets for the Breeders. There was still a charge, but $5 is better than $9 or whatever ticketmaster is charging these days. Anyone else going to that show?

that's huge. that makes me so happy. you know they're doing their best when they hold out on ticketmaster with their private box office. this place may seem like kind of a corporate behemoth but, yeah, way to go, guys. it looks like maybe they're a little bit more self-aware than we'd like to give them credit for. is wrigley field next!? ;)
