Old Friends

I picked up the new The Walkmen record today on the internets. It's called "You & Me" and you can download it for $5 bones at this website and the proceeds--all of them--will be donated to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Not a bad way to release a record.

I've only listened to the record once through thus far and it's pretty good. I may be beginning to feel like they're at the bottom of their bag of tricks but, I don't know, maybe this one'll grow on me with some more time. Below is the fourth track, "In the New Year."



So...I feel like I'm missing some good stuff this year. There must be some good albums I've not yet heard? Come on, guys. What're your favorites this year so far?
