This isn't so much a song of the day as much as it's probably the song i've had on repeat the most for the past six months. When I get depressed (as I no doubt was for a number of months this spring and summer), I fall back on my love for pop music. When I'm alive and alert and feeling proactive, I'm much more inclined to the more experimental strains of my music hobby. This song is emblematic of kind of an exhausted return to comfort music. It's a tender albeit highly romanticized ballad that muses on the shortcomings of two people in a relationship. It's what you (I) want to croon to your (my) latest crush. It's simple and sweet and the melody in the chorus is infinitely sing-a-longable. I hope you get half as much mileage out of this track as I have.

Hey Joe... I heard a bit on NPR yesterday where a judge in Denver is ordering citizens who get pulled over for loud music to listen to a 1-hour mix in his courtroom as punishment. One of the songs, Human Hands.
