One of the best tracks from 2008 was by a Chicago band called Golden Birthday. I've always been squeamish when someone's asked me who my favorite Chicago band is. There's never been anything local that I've latched onto enough to give it that title. Thankfully, Golden Birthday has changed that. Number #1...with a bullet.
This track reminds me a little bit of "Close to Me" or something by The Jesus and Mary Chain. There's something else that it hearkens to...but I can't quite identify it. Anyway, if you aren't tapping your toes and nodding your head from your desk, you're not doing it right.

Decent track but man if it ain't unnecessarily repetitive. I'm not the sort to need to a new riff every other minute, but at least have a hook to loop.
