I was laying in bed last night reading a book and sipping a delicious brew. Not just any delicious brew, but a splendid concoction created by that grandiose brewery from Delaware: Dogfish Head. I will admit, I was having trouble determining which song I should post today/tonight but the ole' Dogfish Head enlightened my thoughts.
You see, the said Dogfish Head beer is 'Midas Touch'. This scrumptious lil' ditty is an ale crafted with honey, white muscat grapes, and saffron... yes, saffron. It has a very strong honey aroma, a crisp sip, and a grapey/saffron finish. In all actuality, I believe this beer tastes more like mead (Bendy you gotta know where I am going with this) rather than a traditional ale. It is great... and it sparked my mind into a random mess of memories and random connections.
So I am drinking this wonderful beer, which taste like mead. 'Mead': like the warrio
r drink consumed in the mead halls by Beowulf and his crew. 'Beowulf': that great, epic poem that too many of us had to read in early highschool not appreciating it for its magnificent literay signifigance. 'Beowulf': that hunky hunk Danish warrior, the king of the Danes, the Grendal slaying, manly beef-cheese. 'The Danes': what better way to enjoy a mead-style ale, then to drink the beer while listening to a Danish folktronica band. 'Folktronica Danish Band': i.e. Efterklang.... thus, the song selection for the day is Polygyne. I like this song, maybe you will too... and if not, then buy the beer. The beer is good.

Haven't listened to the song yet, but the name remind me of elkland... Reveiw was a little wordy.
yeah I was kind of going for the A.D.D. approach on this one... apparently a success ha ha
