Happy Labor Day

I'm eating fish and most definitely not working today. I can't think of any more pleasant surprise than seeing that Secretly Canadian has a new track up from Damien Jurado's upcoming LP, Caught in the Trees, due in its entirety on September 9. My sister found a copy of it at Encore in Ann Arbor (thanks for the discard, AMG) and i'm swooning (damien's voice, jenna conrad's looks).



And Now That I'm In Your Shadow was a dark horse in 2006 and remains one of the most heart-wrenching albums in my collection. Anyway, I haven't even listened to this before posting. Here goes:
