Today I'm posting two songs from two forthcoming records that I hope you are all excited about. Will Oldham has been pretty prolific lately and overall I can't say I've been compulsively listening to last year's highly-praised "Lie Down in the Light". And overall, I can't say my one listen to "Beware" made me think it would be any different. There was one song that stopped me in my tracks, however. "You Are Lost" is fantastic. Maybe the rest of the album will grow on me. If not, most songwriters will still probably never write a song this good.
I haven't heard this entire album, but this is one of the songs they have been playing at their shows for at least a little while now.
